Privacy Policy

The short version

Information we don't collect

iAlarmClock does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not transmit your alarms, timers, lap times, or other usage data to our servers. There is no server-side database of users. Your alarms exist only in your browser, on your device.

Information stored on your device

To remember your alarms and preferences between visits, iAlarmClock uses your browser's localStorage, a standard web technology. This data is accessible only to iAlarmClock running in your browser, only on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count page views, understand which tools are most used, and see how visitors find the site. Google Analytics may set cookies and process limited information including:

This data is processed in aggregate and is not linked to any individual identity. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising

Some pages display ads from Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site or other sites on the internet.

You can:

Children's privacy

iAlarmClock is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through any contact form, please let us know and we will delete it.

International users & GDPR

iAlarmClock is accessible worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, most data-subject rights under the GDPR (access, deletion, portability) do not apply to us — there is nothing we hold to act on. To remove data stored in your browser, clear your site data for ialarmclock.com. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking on all sites, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

Locally stored preferences remain in your browser until you clear them. Google Analytics data retention follows Google's defaults (typically 14 months for user-level data).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
